Happy Birthday Blog!

It's a bit late but I've just realised that on the 11th of August last year, I wrote my first post on this blog. I can't believe that it's been more than a year and I find myself somehow both in the the same and a very different position at the same time. I am heading off to Wales soon - as I did at about this time last year - but on the other hand, I am coming towards the end of my university life. I am searching for jobs, filling out application forms and have actually got quite a lot on my plate.

I initially started this blog to relieve the boredom of the summer holidays. This year, I have needed most of this time to squeeze in everything I wanted to get done. I still have a lot of things left on the ever increasing 'to do' list and I can't see any way of fitting them all in before I go back to university. I guess I shall just have to take each day as it comes and try not to waste too much of it in bed!
