Choices

This post is substantially less philosophical then the title may suggest. It is in fact dedicated to the latest release by the Hoosiers. A first for this blog will be that the video clip embedded for your viewing pleasure will be utilising YouTube's new embed code which doesn't force Flash upon its users and those of you with HTML5 compatible browsers will be able to watch using that instead.

I was a little bit surprised at how good I thought this new single actually was. I wasn't the biggest fan of their previous album and 'Worried About Ray' got on my nerves quite a lot. This time however, their sound seems a little more grown up. This single is synthy, upbeat and full of energy whilst not seeming cheesy or kiddy. The video to acompany the single is a different story if you watch the extended edition - okay so they are having a bit of fun but it ruins it a little for me.
