Unpacking

As much as I like living out of a box, the summer is long time to be in one place and with some pressure from the parents also, I reluctantly spent most of today unpacking. For the most part it makes living easier - especially not having to drag the huge suitcase out from underneath my bed each morning; but for other things, knowing that the answer to the question "Where is..." is always "in the box" is quite reassuring. In some cases, that object may be fairly small and so tracking it down amongst all of the other stuff can be somewhat time-consuming but it's better than not being able to find it at all because it has been hidden away somewhere sensible.

The other joyful thing about today is that I have received a package from O2. First of all I shall quash any thoughts of it being electrical or in anyway related to mobile telecommunications. No, instead it is... an empty jiffy bag. I assume this is what I am supposed to use to send back the router and cables but it contains no instructions on what they want back and why they have sent it to here instead of Sheffield is beyond me. I asked them to deliver the router here at the beginning of the year because there was no one in Sheffield to sign for it. They must know that the router is based there however not least because that is the address I gave them and we have a Sheffield landline number. Anyway, it has forwarded on to Sheffield now and with a bit of luck, Royal Main will have charged them for the privilege.

This week's single of the week is by no means current but I have once again struggled to find anything decent in the charts. instead we have Kate Nash's latest release from her new album My Best Friend and the track is called Do-Wah-Do. As far as the title is concerned, it's not the most imaginative title in the world and isn't really that much better than Untitled. Saying that, the song itself is a bright and warm happy and jolly sort of song guaranteed to lift your spirits and put you in a good mood, perfect for all of that lovely weather we've been having lately. Apologies for the censored word at the end, it's the best video I could find.
