Cake and CV

I think the title pretty much sums today up. Obviously the cake came first - at the moment I'll find anything to do other than writing this blasted CV. It wouldn't be so bad if there was some sort of standard structure to them; but they are all so different depending on age, experience, industry etc that you almost have to make it up as you go along.

At least with application forms - that are thankfully becoming more and more commonplace in my industry - you are answering questions set by the employer and so you have a good idea as to what they are expecting. Anyway, back to the cake. I used the same sponge recipe as I had done for the latest house birthday with the secret Mars bar ingredient but this time I used a condensed milk/chocolate based icing for extra yummyness. I've not tried this combination yet but in most cases if you put nice things in, you get nice things out so I have high hopes. It was a thank you cake for the friend who's garage I have left my stuff in over the summer.
