A Much Needed Rest

After all of the previous four day's activity, today was a much needed rest day. I caught up on some TV and some much needed sleep. I have also remembered that I haven;t posted a single of the week for ages and so here is one for you that I heard yesterday. I was slightly early - by about 45 minutes - when waiting for the crowd before PopTarts yesterday and heard this on the speakers. It was a wonderful cover of Jump in the Pool by Friendly Fires and so after some YouTubing and Googling, I managed to track down the artist.

As I suspected, it was a Radio 1 Live Lounge session and the artist was Lenka. I first heard about her from a friend I did Spanish with last year and a couple of months later, her fist single The Show was all over the radio. There is a very youthful quality about her voice that makes her sound about six years old but it sounds beautiful and so innocent.
