Behind the Scenes at the Tuesday Club

It took me while to come up with a title for today's post. I have already done to death the long day titles and today is longer than both of those. Somehow I have managed to stay awake, alert and sit through three hours of lectures and work this evening. I started at 11am and finished at 4:30am which is, I now realise, far too long to become a regular part of my timetable.

Despite this, it has been quite a fun day. Working in the Foundry is so very different to working Space in the Octagon so it was nice to see it from a different perspective. The pace of everything is much slower, the food is better because it comes from the Interval rather than Bar One so I had spaghetti and meatballs instead of a burger. I have pretty much ruined my appetite lately and have no idea what it is that I've done to ruin it.

The good side to tonight's Tuesday Club was that there was a live reggae/dubstep band playing which gave a nice distraction from the music played by the resident DJ's. There is nothing that wrong with the music they play but it isn't really my sort of thing. The only way I knew the night was over was when the DJ started playing the Prodigy, if I've heard the song and it's getting late then it's probably the end of the night! Sure enough it was and packing the stuff away didn't take that long so I was back for 04:30, an hours improvement on Friday which was nice.
