My Day Off

I have dubbed today to be my day off; not sure exactly how that really works when I don't actually do anything anyway but still that's what I'm calling it.

Actually, seeing as today is my day off, it does seem a bit strange that today of all days is the day I'm actually doing some work. I have finally had a new task for my internship and have already completed the first section of it, now awaiting a response. This managed to take up about three hours - which isn't bad really however, it does mean that I still had another twelve or so waking hours left.

I managed to find the time (from somewhere) to send a grumpy email to the letting agency in charge of the house in Sheffield to check up on the list of snags that we gave them when we moved in. I'm not hoping for a reply any time soon because that would be too easy, I'm expecting quite a long battle over this one actually as it involves them spending some of their money - or that of the landlord. I've noticed that the things that don't cost them very much seem to get done reasonably quickly but we want an aerial in the house so that we can watch TV. Now I don't think this is too much to ask really and it's normally something that comes as a given in most houses. It wasn't a problem last year as we had Sky but there was still an aerial socket in the lounge and yet this year - nothing. Most odd.
