Merry Christmas All!

My goodness, what a hectic few months it has been. I have been dividing my time between Genesys and TSC with very little room for any of the other modules I am supposed to be studying. There have been some horrendous multiple choice quizzes but some fairly decent attempts at the assignments which should hopefully go some way to contributing to the overall score. I have given myself all of the Christmas holiday to revise for my January exams - of which I have three all squashed into the first week with just a single day separating each of them.

I am actually quite proud of my graphics assignment of which you can hopefully see a video below. I am working on uploading the java applet onto my website so that you can play with it and with a bit of luck, I will have managed that before the end of the holidays.

One advantage of getting my exams over and done with in the first week is that I then have about two and a half weeks off. I say 'off' that really means that I will be attempting to get a really good head start on the Genesys project during the day and working many many TSC events during the evening. So a bit like the end of the last term then. We really need a bumper crop of juniors this year as so many seniors will be leaving at the end of this year.

Another thing I hope to accomplish over the holidays is the completion of my website. It has had a 'Website under construction' sign on the homepage for far too long now, and there isn't all that much to actually finish before it is ready to go live. I'm just being very picky at the moment and refusing to let it open to the public before it is just as I want it.

It is almost a given that I will be a bit on the bored side during the Christmas break and I will once again attempt to compile a few end of year best of lists. It has certainly been another great year for music and more than ever, I have discovered new bands thanks to Last.fm and from supporting artists at gigs I've been to. I was hoping to find something new at the Live Wire events but apart from the Sunshine Underground during week 1, I am yet to be particularly inspired.

Merry festivities to you all and I hope to write again very soon.
