My Car is Falling Apart

I had a couple of errands to run today and after each one, I noticed that some other part of my car had broken / fallen off. , as I was driving back from Portsmouth I noticed that my passenger windscreen wiper had split not long after I had had the car serviced. I decided it must just be bad luck and that they were just old and had had their time.

I am now starting to get a little bit suspicious of what they actually did to the car when it was being serviced. This morning as I went to buy some wellies in preparation for going to a very muddy Reading festival tomorrow, I managed to knock off the rubber cover on my clutch. I didn't even know that I had a rubber cover on my clutch, I just assumed that it was attached - apparently not. I managed to put it on with little difficulty but imagine if it had come off and got wedged under the brake... that could have been very dangerous.

Trying to push the possible consequences from my mind, I headed out on my second errand of the day and noticed that the passenger seat back adjuster had come out and was protruding much more than usual. I very rarely have passengers in the car, and haven't had any for a good few months now so cannot fathom why it would just decide to pop out of place now. This was a bit more difficult to fix but I persevered and managed to slot it back into place without breaking anything.

With a long drive ahead of me tomorrow, I'm wondering what's next on the cards. Fingers crossed it's nothing important.
