Today, I put the finishing touches to my friends website and it is now pretty much finished. The gallery isn't yet uploaded as it still needs to be filled with pictures however, I have left that to my friend to finish off and have given him a Picassa template to use to generate the galleries once he has decided on which photos to use.
My plan was to put up a set of comparison pictures but being the forgetful so and so that I am, I forgot to take a snapshot of it before it was overwritten. Thankfully, my friend kept a copy and so I can show you the old and new after all! It is the first of the three websites in my new portfolio to go live so I'm very happy to have it finished. The next one to be done is for my parents and with a bit of luck, that will be finished by the end of next week - although that very much depends on how constructively I use my time. When I have a limited amount of time and someone sitting next to me telling me what they want, it is very easy. This website was done and dusted accross three days whereas others I can be working on for weeks and not get nearly as far.

I hope you will agree that it is a big improvement from the original version - if not, perhaps I should quit this job right now. I dont pertain to be the most creative or skilled designer out there but I know enough to get things done and my client is certainly pleased with the results. If you want a closer look, check it out at wayne-ingram.co.uk
I am getting close however, and now that I have a new set of photos, I can finish off the photo gallery and move on to tidying things up and making sure everything is all neat and tidy before I show it to my parents and they tell me to change everything!
