TV Catchup

Another catchup day today and this time is is for TV. Having been at the blog for the last few days, I totally forgot how much missed TV was building up in my iPlayer. If I was still using my old laptop I fear I may be running out of disk space at this rate. Thankfully the generous month long deadlines meant nothing had expired.. yet but some were mere days off going the way of the dodo.

Including the live Thursday night TV, I watched about five and half hours today. I forced myself to leave the house on two separate occasions in order to get some fresh air and to prevent me getting square eyes. I finally caught up with Electric Dreams which I meant to watch when it was originally broadcast last year. I then ended up watching A Passionate Woman starring Billie Piper and Sue Johnstone. I wouldn't normally watch something like this but I had read really good reviews and I know how good the BBC dramas are usually so I decided to give it ago. Despite being three hours long in total, it was actually quite entertaining.

I have to give a special mention of the day to You Have Been Watching with Charlie Brooker. Tonight's episode was all about Kid's TV programmes and about half way through the show he brought out a special guest - Mr Fuggles. At this point the twittersphere went mad with requests for him to become a permanent feature. I'm not sure there is enough of this series left for them to warrant doing this but it can certainly be built into the next series (assuming there is one that is).
