Back Home

Today has primarily been a travel day despite the actual travelling only taking up about two hours. The Easter holidays have officially begun and so I am now writing this post from the comfort of my home in Birmingham. It's always weird being away from my student home because the way of life here is so very different. There is a totally different time zone (about two hours in front of what I'm used to) so in a sense I suppose I can blame the inevitable forthcoming tiredness on a sort of jet lag.

What has amazed me most so far is that I don't seem to have forgotten anything which is nothing short of a miracle. I'm sure that will change in the next week when I start wanting to use something obscure that I would ordinarily have to hand in Sheffield.

Whilst we are on the subject of amazing, I came back to a full fridge! There is food in the house and it's good food as well. White bread, butter, cheese, pasta and rice, things I normally take for granted and that are normally absent from this crazy healthy and carb free household were here. I think I might just be able to cope with a couple of weeks of this.
