Not so much manic really but Bangles song popped into my head and I couldn't resist. In fact today was pretty calm really, we still have no food in the house so none of us could be bothered to cook anything. We decided on a take-away as the usual fix to this kind of problem and this week we were a bit more adventurous and decided to go with Indian. I can hardly remember the last time I had Indian, I think it was during the summer sometime. Thankfully this place was a bit posh and so had pretty much everything on the menu, I went with my usual Lamb Sag (that's with spinach) and a garlic naan. I'm getting worse at finishing meals for some reason but at least this time it meant that I had some lunch for tomorrow.
We decided to go and check out the general knowledge quiz at the local pub but must have missed it somehow. We waited for the football to finish and for about half an hour afterwards but no sign of anyone waiting to do a quiz. We suspect it was being help in a different area of the pub so we will have to go and try again another day.
Single of the Week
Another cheeky one again this week but deservedly so in my opinion. Not released as a single - and I doubt it will be but it is a superb album track that is available to download now. Seeing as I'm going to see this artist in concert tomorrow it seems fitting that they get the honour this week. Of course I'm talking about probably my favourite band - Muse. I featured Undisclosed Desires as my single of the week here a while ago and whilst that will be a single (admittedly, not as soon as I'd thought), I have no idea about this one. It is the third part of the amazing Exogenesis trilogy or movement as it may be more appropriate to call it and I think it is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've heard in a long time. Soothing, calming and relaxing - a perfect way to end a simply marvellous album. I do hope you enjoy this, I know I will.
