More Gardening?

Are my green fingers starting to shine through? Perhaps, but the explanation I am going with at the moment is that I have developed a slight case of carpel tunnel syndrome in my right wrist. Anyone smirking at this point can stop reading straight away! In fact I believe it is down to incorrect posture when using my mouse. The way my desk is currently set up at home means that I am at a funny angle when typing and mousing and therefore it is putting additional strain on my tendons.

It has got to a point where I have (almost) banned myself from the computer to give my wrist a rest and so the only other thing I could think of to do was gardening. I suppose it wasn't even proper gardening, more manual labour - which I am using pretty averse to (with the exception of TSC). I had the enviable task of turning over the compost bins. They have become so compact that you can no longer get any compost out and the majority of it is being suspended mid air it is that compact.

Overall it took me a good two hours in the hot sun surrounded by smelly garden and kitchen waste. The reward for this task was being able to burn the sticks and other bits that have been left down the bottom of the garden for a long time now. They are very dead and very dry thanks to the weather - perfect burning material! So much so in fact that I managed to light it with just one match. Any man will appreciate the importance of the one match light, its something of a skill and can be a particular source of shame to them if they can't do this without the assistance of several firelighters / newspapers.
