The Week Ahead

Today was a somewhat organisational day. Lectures in the morning were nothing special as usual but the rest of the day seems to be preparing for the rest of the week. I will be working Pop Tarts again this Saturday, which seems to be becoming a regular occurrence these days and I attended the Computer Science Societies AGM.

As a result of this, I am now joint secretary in next year's committee which is interesting. The society has only been active for just over half a year and has had a decent amount of success all things considered. Quite a few people not staying on which is interesting but they will be moving into their third year which as I now know involves quite a lot of work - particularly in this second semester.

I sent out some more emails requesting volunteers to test my prototypes and now have four people which is amazing really seeing as most people see the word Matlab and run several miles. I'd have liked about ten people in total but can't quite see that happening so I've lowered my expectations slightly and will be happy with five.

Last note of the day is that FlashForward seems to be going downhill at the moment. They have done a lot better than Heroes or Lost ever did but these filler story lines are getting a bit tedious. Get to the action already!
