At last, the time is here and the single of the week that I have been wanting to put up for the last three months is finally officially released! I really hope it does well in the charts on Sunday because her previous release Mowgli's Road didn't get as much hype as I'd hoped. Now that she has come second in the Sound of 2010 poll and is nominated in MTVs 10 for 10 and has racked up a lot of airplay on Radio 1, she should stand a pretty good chance of at least getting into the top 10.

Oh by the way, in case you hadn't already worked it out, I am talking about Marina and the Diamonds of course - really who else could it have been, I've been blabbering on about her for months but it is only because this is the first time I have truly championed a genuinely new artist before she became famous. It's really exciting to watch someone like this rise to fame and enjoying the success she deserves and the journey to the top is a long and difficult, no wonder not many people get the chance.

The new single is called Hollywood and whilst not only being a very catchy tune, it makes fun of American's and the supposed American dream. It is available to download now so go forth and spend your pennies!
