A Bit Behind

As I write this, it is actually Friday. I have been that busy all week that I haven't been bothered to find the time to sit down and write. Now regretting that decision a lot because I've not got the horrible task of trying to remember what I did for the past week. Thanks in part to twitter updates and sms messages received and sent, I think I have pretty much pieced together what happened so lets get started!

I got round to watching the fist two episodes of Criminal Justice which I really enjoyed last year and I am really liking this new concept of showing a whole series in a week. Not having to wait a week for the next episode is brilliant (if you've got the time to watch it). They did it with Torchwood for the latest mini-series as well and it certainly helps when you've got a long story line so that you don't forget what happened.

I woke up this morning to a bit of a surprise. There was this strange wet stuff falling from the sky, something I haven't seen for a good few weeks which is very rare in the UK. I quickly realised that it was our old friend rain, come to mark the beginning of autumn and remind us all that it going to get darker, colder and more miserable from now on. I even had to dig out my coat to walk down to lectures and I'm wondering how - if it rains - I am going to manage to climb up the Everest-esque hill that is Conduit Rd without melting from the heat.

Last port of call for the day was a much needed visit to Tesco. As usual I spent far to much on personal indulgences, snacks and chocolate that keep me happy. Once of bought them, it takes me ages to eat up everything and especially when the deals are on bulk items; I ended up buying four litres of fruit juice, more Mini Cheddars (because they were going cheap) and I really need to start learning some self control!
